Pink Saturday: In Shades of Pink at the River
In various shades of pink are the sunsets and the twilight time on the Red River in Texas.. Just at the place, dividing Texas and Oklahoma..flowing part way into Lake Texoma is one of my favorite places of all time. This is my place of quietness, peace and rest..a place to just be...a place to dream dreams and to mull over problems, knowing that in the end, things will somehow work out. There is such a rich history here..of settlers, Texas Rangers, bandits..Indians....of log cabins and wilderness.., of old and new..and looking back into the past..I truly love this place of beautiful sunsets and twilights.

Lovely pictures. I love pink sunsets. It's funny. For about the past hour or so - before i saw your post - I've been going around singing The Red River Valley. I don't know why that song was on my mind, I hadn't thought bout it in ages.
