It's my all time favorite day of the week again..Thursday, and that means we all start looking for some vintage sweet things to show and tell. I love and enjoy this day so much..so a big hug and a thank you Suzanne for hosting us each week. so let's everyone scamper on over Coloradolady and see what everyone is showing. I can't wait..so I'll see you there or while I'm visiting some of the other participants. Thanks again Suzanne, for getting us all together for this wonderful fun time.
For use on an embroidered piece..whether it be a tea towel, embroidery on an apron..whatever you choose, our girl Sue will be there for you. That is..as soon as she finds another number.
All the girls were playing..you know the little game..one.two..buckle my shoe, three, four, shut the door....five,six..pick up sticks, seven, eight..lay them straight, nine, ten... wait !!!!!!!!! What's this?? Where's the ten?????? What's happened to the ten ????
While we leave the girls to search for their ten....,I will tell you that to enlarge for a pattern, click on the picture to enlarge.
Meanwhile, I do so hope the girls find the ten and that you have a most happy Vintage Things Thursday...and a wonderful weekend.......and most of all, that you take this little vintage pattern for a tea towel..a pot holder..something sweet to embroidery. I surely am.

Hey girl
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how to tell you this, but he giveaway on my blog you wanted to enter was in June!
I have no clue how that post would have come up. Maybe in Link Within or something.
Anyway, I have just hit over 600 posts, and will probably have a giveaway when i can catch my breath.
So keep an eye out.
Sorry for any disappointment.

ReplyDeleteHi CC, thank you for visiting me today and for your sweet comment.
ReplyDeleteI have quite a bit of 1950's embroidery pieces in my laundry room. Clothespin bags, laundry bags etc. I love the work. I have a few projects I am working on but I am slow to pick it up. The pattern is darling. A sweet offer. Thanks.
Hugs, Jeanne
