Victorian Lace Pillows and Padded Hangers

Hi everyone and welcome !!!!!!! It's good to have you visiting and I hope to visit you as well on my Pink Saturday travels.
Hugs and a big thank you to Beverly for being our gracious hostess. She's a lovely lady that takes the time to gather us all together each week for our pink day. So please, take the time to visit Beverly and all the participants in Pink Saturday. You will meet some really lovely people and see many gorgeous things. So scamper and skedaddle on over to Howsweetthesound to see all the pinkies and their pretty pinks... :). Happy Pinks Saturday everyone...

I love these sweet ,lacy pillows....
I would love to make some, just can't decide what fabric to use. I have tons of lace and ribbons, but what should be my background fabric???? It's a fun decision to make though..I get to go through all my pretty fabrics trying to decide. I just love looking at gorgeous fabrics.. And, it's also time to get out the satins and velvets..chenilles etc. for my fabric ornaments. I should still have time to make cones and tussie mussies...

Pretty, pretty padded hangers.............
I've made these gorgeous padded hangers before..and they came out so pretty. My sister thought so as well because she took them for herself and said to make some more for myself. :).
Actually, I had made them for her, but they came out so pretty,I started to keep them for myself.
Happy Pink Saturday everyone... Have a great weekend.

  3. Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
I love this post. The story about your sister and the hangers was so sweet. If she had only waited they were coming her way. What is it they say, "Patience my child."

The pillow tutorial is a really nice thing to have. I have thought several times about making a couple for my sofa's. Your tutorial has inspired me.

Thanks for sharing sweetie. Please stop over and let me share my pink post with you.

    Country hugs...Sherry

Aren't those Victorian pillows gorgeous! I know you will have fun making them. I so love your padded hangers. I have some and they are almost too pretty to hang anything on them. They sure do keep your clothes from wrinkling so badly. Happy Pink Saturday to you! Blessings to you! Vicki

  29. Hi CC,

The pillows are so pretty and I love the padded hangers. I would love to make some for myself. Maybe I can even make little miniature ones for my paper doll creations. I can relate to going through the fabric collection to choose just the right pattern and colors for your next project. I do the same thing with paper. (tee hee :) It's so much fun.

Thank you for your visit on Pink Saturday. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your day. Sending fairy magic and butterfly wishes for a positively perfect day.

    Cheers! =D

  32. PS regarding pillows, I think any of the fabrics you choose for the pillow will be great. I do know that sometimes i get stuck on the deciding, and probably most of them would have been fine.

    So get sewing girl!!

    Love your hangar covers too.
