I love this pattern for cross stitch/chicken scratch on gingham. I've thought of these for aprons, curtains......or cute gingham potholders. My favorite fabrics seem to be ginghams and soft calicos.
They're just soft to the touch and so sweet. I hope you enjoy the pattern and that some will use it. I keep wishing for more hours in the day..alas, I just can't stretch the day...
They are so lovely. I wish I could find a pink gingham and try this pattern. Geez,I am so greedy to want to try to do so many stuff at one go....lol. Happy Pink Saturday and wish you have a lovely Happy Mother's Day Celebration tomorrow. :)

ReplyDeleteSuch a l♥vely post for Pink Saturday. This is the one day of the week when I get to visit some of the best blogs in cyberspace and indulge my passion for pink.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day. I wish you all the peace and joy that a day in celebration of motherhood can bring. You don't have to grow a baby in your womb to be a mother...all you have to do is to l♥ve a human being with compassion and tenderness.
The first time I saw chicken scratch I was in awe. It is a beautiful art that is dying! Thanks for keeping it alive. Happy PS and Happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteYep - I love gingham, too. Pink is so pretty. Gingham is getting harder to find in my area. Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThat Pinkness you shared this week reminds my of my youth--that technique was popular in those "olden day"s :) and I'm pretty certain I made a thing or two with a chicken scratch design! I hope you share your creation if you make it!
