  4. What wonderful patterns and I can not believe they are just like new....love them. I found a pattern for aprons at an estate sale, but it was not nearly this vintage.

  9. I'm always on the hunt for apron patterns. I have Simplicity's 3702 as well. Why didn't they put dates on their patterns back then? Great collection.

  14. My mom loved to sew and she had loads of these vintage patterns. Not just aprons though. These are great!

  15. It's so hard to think of the 80's and 90's as vintage because, to me, that was just "yesterday"! But you've got yourself some nice patters there - I hope we get to see the ones you make!

  20. I'm not sure how many aprons I will make..I have one cut out that's a very old pattern and am just starting it. I've collected aprons for a couple of years now..mostely the chicken scratch/gingham stitch ones...I just love aprons..both to display and to wear..and I love and collect apron patterns as well. Somewhere, in one of my storage boxes, I have 2 that are very very old..I just have to find them again. :). I just hate to cut a vintage pattern.

  21. Those are so pretty! My aunt used to wear one similar to the 67, I remember her hanging out her laundry wearing one.
Do you actually make the aprons or do you simply enjoy collecting the patterns? I guess you can't make every one of them..

  22. I love the one that includes "man chefs" in the patterns! And that only one! Funny, to me. I really like the first one, too. All are great, though, and do represent the times accurately, making them fun to look at in that perspective.
Thanks for sharing and for stopping by.
