The Best Candied Sweet Potatoes
Bake 4 or 5 sweet potatoes, and cut into large pieces..
or use 2 large cans sweet potatoes drained
Butter your pan..
Sauce:
5 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup water
Bring the sauce to a boil..Pour over potatoes. Bake about 1 hour at 350. Check to see how candied you would like them.

I always double the recips. These sweet potatoes are served at every holiday dinner.
