Pinkish/peachish with a lovely matching print pillow. I believe the pattern is called attic window. I don't know the maker, I wish I did, because they are talented sewers. I found these two pillows at a thrift store, pinned together as a set..and bought them for I believe it was a dollar.
This one is done in solids..the pinkish/peachish fabric and white. There is a smyrna star embroidered on the soft white part of the block. The pillows have the pretty addition of very wide pretty, dainty lace. They reside in my favorite sitting area...
Have a Happy Pink Saturday everyone..and a continuing Happy Blogtoberfest...
Thank you for your sweet visit to my Magpie's Nest! The pink poppy pic is perfection. I really Love these pillow tops too. Many many years ago my mother made twin bed quilts in this pattern, she called them cathedral window....I think it's like plants, different names for different regions perhaps :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by for Pink Saturday - your pillows are lovely! Have a fun weekend!

You sure got a bargain. I made a whole quilt for a queen size bed by this pattern back in the 80s. I worked on it off and on for over 2 years.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Pink Saturday to you.
