This is a definate 5 ***** book with the most wonderful patterns possible, and is filled with colorful potholders and hot plate holders. The directions are so well written that a beginner crocheter should be able to work these patterns..with a bit of time and patience...

Materials:
Crochet Cotton...
3 balls white
1 ball each of green and shaded purples
Steel crochet hook..No. 7 or 8
3 racks..(small=7" diameter, medium=9" diameter and large=11" diameter)

Large Cover:

With white, ch 6, join to form a ring, ch 3 and work 15 dc in ring, do not join this or following rounds. Place a marker at beginning of eac round.
Rnd. 2:
2 dc in each dc
Rnd. 3:
*Dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * all around.
Rnd 4:
* 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * all around
Rnd. 5:
* 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * all around
Rnd. 6:
Working in dc, increase in every 5th st
Rnd. 7:
Increase in every 6th st. Work 1 round even
Rnd.9:
Increase in every 7th st
Rnd. 10:
Increase in every 8th st
Rnd. 11:
Increase in every 9th st. Work 1 round even
Rnd. 13:
Increase in every 10th st
Rnd. 14:
